  1. you missed a couple of trends for 2012
    1. Television service provided by Rogers continues it slow crawl of innovation perilously close to death. More and more users flock to drop cable service for more streaming services which offer better selection, price and better use of current technology.

    2. Rogers user continue to be baffled at Rogers draconian Internet Usage limits. Costs continue to rise at a higher rate than upgrades to services provided.

    3. With all the money Rogers collects from customers, and with no need to invest in customers, Rogers invests in more sports teams… oh wait that happened this year.

  2. What would be nice, is if Rogers didnt cancel Portable Internet. The only internet available to me at my home. So much for innovation.

  3. What would also be nice is if Rogers paid more attention to the needs of its clients, and focusing on keeping them happy.

Hi Melissa, we definitely care and we are always looking for new products & services to better meet customers’ needs. This said, we are also open to ideas. Thanks for the feedback!

  4. It seems to me that business leaders are the biggest barriers to innovation in information technology. For example, Apple programmed the Ipad NOT to be able to play Adobe Flash! What a stupid move that was. What I would like to see in 2012, and which I believe is technically very easy, is a single card to replace the 34 credit, debit and loyalty cards which I currently carry every day in my wallet (and I do not carry every day all of the airline and hotel cards I also have!). If only businesses could agree to cooperate on such a tool we could all reduce wear and tear on our wallets and purses and carry just one card which includes all of the information on all of the banking and loyalty programs to which we belong. This does not need to be on a phone – it would be much easier to put it on a credit card sized card.
