LTE flash mob hits Ottawa
You probably saw last week’s announcement that Rogers launched Canada’s first Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in Ottawa. Just before we made the announcement, we took to the streets to show how excited we are to be the first in Canada to roll out the global gold standard in wireless network technology. Take a look:
This fall, we’ll be rolling out LTE in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, with another 21 markets in 2012. And later this year, Rogers customers will be able to get their hands on the first LTE smartphones from HTC and Samsung.
For more, visit www.rogers.com/lte or sign up at IwantmyLTE.ca to be notified when LTE is coming to your area.

Dang Miranda was in Ottawa and I missed her?!
Yup! I was there but only briefly and I wasn’t part of the flash mob. Just there for the big announcement. :)
Should have done it in a mall.
Doesnt look like many people were watching aside from Rogers cameras.
Thanks Nick. They were on a busy street in Ottawa, but love the mall suggestion. If we ever do another one, that’s a good suggestion!
Maybe instead of wasting money on Flashmob marketing, Rogers should invest in their line up. Bell will be releasing the Motorola XT860 4G, Samsung Galaxy S2, the new Blackberry line-up and the Samsung Galaxy Gio…
And Rogers…. sits around releasing Nokias’ …..
This is painfully embarrassing.
