Let’s play ball: Live Jays coverage anywhere, anytime with Rogers on Demand Online
Jose Bautista hit 54 home runs in 2010 and is on pace to do it again. If you can’t wait to watch record-breaking baseball in the highlight reels, we’ve got good news for you. Starting today, you’ll be able to watch Sportsnet’s Blue Jays coverage live, wherever you want – online with Rogers On Demand Online and on your mobile device with Rogers On Demand Mobile.
How do I get it?
Starting today as the Toronto Blue Jays take on the Tampa Bay Rays at 7:10pm EST, customers can visit www.rogersondemand.com and register with their account information to begin to watch live Sportsnet coverage. Blue Jays live streaming is available to all Rogers customers across Canada at no extra charge.
Also, if you’re a Rogers wireless customer, you can subscribe to the Rogers on Demand Mobile app for $5 per month to view Jays on Sportsnet full game presentation, live, as-it-happens. iPhone and Android customers can visit their device’s app store to subscribe to the Rogers on Demand Mobile App. Rogers BlackBerry customers can text MyApps to 555 to subscribe.
Rogers On Demand Mobile also offers TV programming, news and music videos as part of the monthly subscription.
What’s your favourite way to watch the Jays? Do you think Bautista will break last year’s home run record?

Does ROD count against my home internet connection cap? Does ROD Mobile count against my wireless cap?
Umm, guys… you do know that you also sell Symbian phones, right?! Of course you do – you just posted an article about the latest one you offer. So… where’s the app for these devices? It gets more than a little aggravating the lack of support you give to a subset of your (paying) customer base.
Nokia stopped making Symbian phones as of the Nokia X7 (last Symbian phone ever!). So, it won’t make sense to make an app for that OS.
Let me get this straight, Rogers is charging existing paying customers an additional $5 per month, for content that is already being paid for, simply to watch in on a mobile device!?
This has to be another classic Rogers joke… Please… Bell offers this for free as do most providers outside of Canada. Get with the times and stop trying to screw your customers out of more money..
Just another way to make us go over our usage!
David – check your facts. Bell charges $5/month for all of their mobile video offerings.
I have been able to access certain programs without subscribing, ie ctv news…
Do i have access to blue jays ondemand and if so am i charged for it since my home and internet is with rogers BUT my cell service is not?
can i access via computer, tablet, cell phone?
thanks for clearing this for me!
Rogers on demand doesn’t seem to work on my galaxy tab. Too bad. I would have signed up for this for sure.
If you watched every Sports Net Blue Jays game in August via ROD Online, at about 2.5 Gig per game, that would put you over 65Gig for the month in Blue Jays games alone. Not to mention any other surfing you did.
Take that Express customers! When will Rogers realize that we don’t need the speed, when their paltry caps of 60 Gig prevent us from using it!?!?!
Here’s a Ferrari for you to drive…. now don’t take it out of the driveway or we’ll penalize you!
Getting a message that says that they can’t identify my location and being blacked out!
I am living in Canada using Canadian IP Address but getting this message?
