    Why are these deals not available for existing customers? No love for us?

      Looks like it, doesn’t it? Another glass half-empty situation that offers little to people already in the fold.

      Really good deals, like those on wireless, would probably become far too popular (expensive) and therefore must not be allowed.

      Only those things that cost them next to nothing (like magazine subscriptions) and are of limited interest are on offer here.

      This is a promotion only an accountant could love.
