A Friday night free for all with Rogers on Demand Online

Rogers on Demand Online: Mad MenDo you remember when it didn’t cost nearly $50 for a night at the movies? We do. Luckily, if you’re looking for a free, fun way to spend a Friday night (or any night, for that matter), Rogers On Demand Online has some super movie and TV show suggestions to keep you entertained.

As part of a new RedBoard series highlighting some of the great content on Rogers on Demand Online, we’re starting with a look at some of our favourite programming that’s included with your Digital TV subscription at no additional cost.

Mad Men: Mad Men is one of the most critically acclaimed television series of the past five years, thanks to it’s unique setting (the ad agency world of the 1960’s) and ridiculously hot cast (Jon Hamm, January Jones and Elisabeth Moss, for starters). Rogers On Demand Online has all four seasons of the show, so you can start at the very beginning. Mad Men is available for free to all Rogers Digital TV customers.

Robocop: Part man. Part machine. All cop. That was the tagline for Robocop when it hit theatres back in 1987. The less said about the sequels and TV series, the better, but there’s no doubt that the original film, which is available to Rogers customers on Rogers On Demand Online, has stood the test of time.  Sidenote – a remake is on the way next year, but we doubt it will be as good as the original. Robobop is available for free to Rogers Wireless, Home Phone, Hi-Speed Internet and Cable TV customers.

HBO: If you’re a HBO Subscriber, you can watch the channel on your computer so you don’t have to battle for TV supremacy. Among the HBO shows you can access easily are George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones and The Ricky Gervais Show. Plus, you can get psyched for the upcoming fourth season of True Blood by revisiting Season Three.  HBO programming is available on Rogers on Demand Online to Rogers Cable TV customers as part of their HBO subscription.

That’s just a small sampling of the amazing content Rogers On Demand has to offer. If none of the above speaks to you, I guarantee you’ll be able to find something when you visit the site.
